Trade show season is upon us. We’re bouncing around from Orlando to New York to London and coming up next week, we are headed out to Las Vegas for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show.
NACS attendees cover anything at everything that you’ll find at a convenience store or gas station. Seriously, anything you can think of: energy drinks, money orders, foodservice and vending supplies, candy, beer, tobacco, novelty items, fuel pump equipment, shelving and displays, and on and on. The show is one of the top 50 trade shows in the country, taking up over 390,000 square feet.
OK, so where do we fit in?
Convenience stores are all about, well, convenience. And that’s what we offer. We believe in easy and fast payments and cash handing. Customers want to get in-and-out of these stores quickly, so we are here to help businesses provide that while providing an extra layer of security.
We’ll have a wide variety of payment and cash management machines with us and are also excited to have our friends at Robocoin joining us for the show! Just last year, they debuted the world’s first Bitcoin ATM and now they have machines placed all over the world.
Here’s a quick breakdown of everything we’ll be showing:
POS/Point-of-Sale
Purpose:
Process credit and debit card transactions.
Benefit:
Helps businesses make the switch from processing credit cards with magnetic stripes to the EMV microchip cards.
Products:
We will have two Globalcom payment solutions, both for in-person and self-service transactions. (We also have a spot in the “Cool New Products” Section!)
Cash Management
Purpose:
Keep cash secure.
Benefit:
Helps store owners cut down on miscounting, counterfeit bills and internal theft.
Products:
We will have two cash management solutions, including the affordable and compact Lincsafe Pro to track cash and secure it for deposit, and the robust Azkoyen Cashlogy, which recycles and stores bills and coins.
Bitcoin Transactions
Purpose:
Buy and share bitcoins.
Benefit:
Allows customers to store, deposit, withdraw and send bitcoins worldwide to any phone number, email address or digital wallet.
Product:
We will have a Bitcoin ATM at the show that accepts cash and can buy/sell bitcoins instantly and free.
