Advia Credit Union - Trusting The Technology

Lila Stecke, Teller, Advia Credit Union

"Do I trust the machine? One hundred percent. When we first got them, I was the skeptic, you know, I'll punch the holes into any brand new idea. And I am so impressed with how accurate they are. The members are blown away, because, you know, you've got to teach the members, 'We're not going to be counting it back to you anymore.'  And they're like, 'Is this right?" and I'm like, "I promise you it's right.' And it has never been wrong."

Kyle Rousch, Teller, Advia Credit Union

"When we first started handing back the cash without counting it back, they're like, 'Aren't you going to count it back?' because that's what they were used to. And now, they're just like, 'Oh, yeah, cool. Yeah, we're good.' I was like, 'Do you want me to count it anymore?' and they're like, 'No, we're good. I trust the machine.'"

Lila Stecke: "Since we got the recyclers I have had no offages, so I get out on time, get to go pick up the kids, and still continue on with my life."

Portia Powell, Southgate Branch Manager, Advia Credit Union

"One of my tellers, specifically, was having a lot of balancing errors and had been written up and, truthfully, was on the verge of being terminated because of her out-of-balances. And since we've implemented the recyclers, now just over a year, she has not been out of balance once, and now that's not something she has to worry about. She's a great employee, she's the top seller in our branch, she leads in referrals, and now we're able to retain her as an employee because the recyclers are handling the accuracy aspect for her.

I think what surprised me the most about the recyclers is that, truthfully, that they actually delivered on what they said that they would. I was impressed with what they actually could do. I mean, they took that money in and by the next member, it's ready to divert that money right back out and continue to process. And they're dead on. The machines dispense what they say they're going to dispense, and what they've taken in is what the member actually gave you. So there's really no room for error. The recyclers have eliminated the human error out of the processing of the transactions."

Lyndsey Wyatt, Branch Manager, Advia Credit Union

"The convenience of the cash machines, just seeing how much they like it and how much the members enjoy it, and just how it affects everyone in such a positive way, definitely brings a smile to my face at the end of the day and makes my life a whole lot easier, as well."
